Power of Attorney

The Power of Attorney (POA) has to be executed in person before a Consular Officer in the premises of the High Commission. Miscellaneous services form can be downloaded from the website http://www.hcizambia.gov.in. Forms are also available at the High Commission.

Documents required:

  • Miscellaneous services form duly filled.
  • Passport of both spouses (original and photocopy first two pages, last page and first entry into Zambia.
  • Two recent passport size photographs (see ‘Photograph guidelines’).
  • NRC/Residency Permit (original and photocopy).
  • Power of Attorney notarized in the presence of two witnesses with a photo affixed (original and photocopy)

Note: For Foreign passport (other than Indian passport) holders, the Power of Attorney would be treated as Attestation and prior attestation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is mandatory for such POAs before the attestation by this High Commission

Time Frame : 02 working days

Fees: (to be paid in cash) ZMK 490/-
