Attestation of Documents

The High Commission attests copies of original documents submitted to it without certifying authenticity of contents. Documents such as Birth certificate, Marriage certificate Education certificate, salary certificate, NRI certificate, Power of Attorney, Affidavits etc. need attestation by the High Commission. Miscellaneous services form can be downloaded from the website:  http://www.hcizambia.gov.in. Forms are also available at the High Commission.

Note: The documents originating in Zambia requires prior attestation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Zambia

Documents required:

  • Miscellaneous services form duly filled.
  • Passport (original and photocopy - first two pages, last page and first entry into Zambia).
  • NRC/Residency Permit (original and photocopy).
  • Two recent passport size photographs (see ‘Photograph guidelines’).
  • Original document with 2 sets of copies each.

Time Frame: 02 working days:

Fees (to be paid in cash) ZMK 490/-
