Police Clearance Certificate
Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is issued to both Indian nationals and foreign nationals (in respect of their stay in India) for specific purpose as requested by the applicant. Police Clearance Certificate will only be issued after receipt of fresh police verification on the PCC application. Therefore, applicants are advised to apply well in time to enable fresh police verification. Online application can be made on website https://embassy.passportindia.gov.in.
Documents required:
Print-out of duly-filled online application form.
Passport (original and photocopy - first two pages, last page and first entry into Zambia).
NRC/Residency Permit (original and photocopy).
Two recent passport size photographs (see ‘Photograph guidelines’)
Letter of invitation or appointment (original and photocopy).
Letter from the concerned Embassy (for migration visa – original and photocopy).
